McCarran International Airport (IATA: McCarran, FAA LID: “MCC”, ICAO: KLAS) is a major airport in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. It is run by the Clark County Department of Aviation.
McCarran is named after former U.S. Senator Pat McCarran who helped create the airport in 1941. It is the closest major airport to downtown Las Vegas, located 12 miles (19 km) south of the city’s center, and has direct service to destinations in North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.
